Location : Calke Abbey
Located not too far away from where I live up in Derbyshire we found this stunning location for a relaxing walk in the countryside.
Calke Abbey is a country estate part of the National Trust just a couple of miles away from East Midlands Airport.
Perfect for anyone wanting to take dogs or even just go themselves for a peaceful stroll in the country.
The designated walks take you around small ponds, streams and a reservoir with an abundance of wildlife to see on the way.
The weather wasn't at it's best but it still didn't get in the way of taking some lovely shots of the animals and nature on display. In particular the deer who seemed to love the area.

Location : Shugborough Estate
Another place around 40 minutes away from where we live, a stunning rural location with beautiful walks around the estate.
Another pick straight from the National Trust website and 100% worth going to visit, just as Calke Abbey was it is perfect to take a relaxing walk and great for dogs and children as well.

The estate itself is full of history and we were blown away by how incredible the Hall was decorated.
Although it was a bit chilly the weather held out for me to get some really nice shots of the area, really happy with how they came out. This time of year the autumn colours bring out so much character in the land.
